Today the British media are full of the news of the announcement by the Crown Prosecution Service that they intend to charge Cabinet Minister Chris Huhne and his estranged wife with the offence of perverting the course of justice. If you are not aware of this story, say you are not in the UK or British, the Telegraph’s report is linked below:
Chris Huhne resigns from Cabinet after being charged over speeding points
This is an extremely serious offence, especially since Huhne in theory is meant to be setting a good example of not breaking the law, as someone who is responsible for creating them. I really do not think the CPS would press charges if he was not guilty, but given the ability of politicians for whitewashing, who knows if he will actually found to be guilty or not. And of course these are just allegations at this stage.
A good day for British justice and our so-called sense of fair play? But then the media who are so obsessed with this case are actively looking the other way to a total perversion of justice on an international scale, and that is the planned war with Iran and Syria.
Only now have the BBC revealed that, er, well, you know, that business in Libya and the rebels, well the rebels kind of had a lot of support from British Special Forces.
Us Brits just love to mess around with foreign countries while all the time maintaining that the rebel forces are fighting for freedom and liberty. It is us Brits I think who really are the epitome of rank hypocrisy.
And now it is Iran and Syria’s turn. Discussions continue outside of any parliamentary procedure, away from the public’s eyes. This next article continues with a lot of minutiae, and if you are not familiar with the politicians involved, you may not immediately understand the gravity of the situation.
Gould-Werritty: the Continuing Cover-Up
But it boils down to this. Cabinet Ministers past and present are conducting their business of planning war with Iran and Syria in private and unaccountable meetings, and our media, just as with all our wars, consciously look the other way. Now that really is perverting the course of justice.
Sorry if this is a little too political, but if we are to change our consciousness, we have to first be aware of how our thoughts and opinions are manipulated into a consensus view of reality. If we can become aware of this, then we are in a position to take control and move into a new era of peace peace with ourselves, within our society, and across boarders. One politician may be going to prison quite soon for lying about a speeding offence, but although we may not have the power to send all lying politicians to prison, we do have the power to remove them from power. And we can do this peacefully.
