Don’t go to the mall, go to a fall

We hear a lot about materialism, consumerism, and people feeling that during the “bad” times almost ironically, or paradoxically, they need to go shopping and consume even more to try and feel good. If these shopping outings do generate any good feelings at all, we know from research that they are barely likely to last past getting home and unpacking the stuff.

The Telegraph recently ran a very lovely little article on Britain’s best waterfalls. Well there are many waterfalls in the UK, some grand and huge, others forceful, and others still quite small but very magical. I love waterfalls I really do. So why not for once not go to a mall, but visit a fall, wherever you are?
