Announcement: Holonomics and the Green Spa Network

I am delighted to be able to announce today that I will be one of the keynote speakers at the 8th Annual Fall Congress of the Green Spa Network. The theme this year is Moving Mountains – The Strength to Change, with a focus on the key concepts of explore, enlighten and inspire.

Green Spa Network

Green Spa Network is a community of people who are leading the way to transform the spa industry to be more efficient, sustainable, and earth-friendly. Their mission is “to promote the natural connections between personal well-being, economic sustainability, and health of our planet” and so you can see immediately that there is such a great fit with Holonomics.

Green Spa NetworkI have already had some conversations with the core team, with more to come, and as well as providing a keynote, I will also be facilitating a deep-dive workshop into Holonomics, and also spending lots of time one-on-one and in small groups as collectively we look to re-imagine the spa industry in all its facets.

This is an amazing goal and vision, and one of my aims is to help develop people’s concepts of what I am calling customer experiences with soul, a deep way of understanding the notion of customer experience which comes from the dynamic conception of wholeness in systems which we write about in Holonomics, and which I introduced for the first time this weekend at my TEDxFloripa speech.

What I am really looking forward to is the fact that this congress brings together so many people from absolutely every part of the spa industry, across the whole spa value chain and ecosystem. There are some really exciting ways in which we Spas can evolve, and which I have been discussing with the network already, but of course these seeds will of course grow and flourish once we start to go deep into the envisioning process with each and every participant.

YosemiteWhat what so great when speaking to the Green Spa Network team is their commitment to their values, and their desire to provide an event which has been very carefully planned to take place in Yosemite National Park.

I do talk about some networks in fact being knotworks (networks with ego), but the very strong sense that comes from Green Spa Network is their desire for this to be a truly co-creative event, with an opening and closing ceremony, which will facilitate I know a wonderfully creative space for people to explore future possibilities and develop ever deeper relationships between all of those who form a part of the network.

Daniella RussoAlso joining us this year will be the second keynote speaker Daniella Dimitrova Russo who is the CEO and Founder of Think Beyond Plastic™, a social impact venture that addresses plastic pollution by harnessing the forces of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the power of the markets to do good. Think Beyond Plastic™ is a model for addressing global sustainability problems that can be extended to food security and agriculture, clean energy, climate change and other intractable social and environmental issues.

It really is worth checking out the Green Spa Network website. A free basic-level membership is available, and this could well be of interest to you even if you are not directly involved in the spa industry but who are interested in sustainability, as this gives you access to some of the tools and methodologies used, such as their Sustainability Action Toolkit.

As the Green Spa Network team say on their site, “in the years to come, spas will become a recognized venue for physical, emotional and spiritual wellness, respected and supported by the medical profession and enjoyed by all”. This is an amazing vision to have, and I am really looking forward to working with everyone attending, making this vision a reality.
